Sr. Mary Caroline

Sr. Mary Caroline in the Marketing Department. She spent many years in the bindery where she taught postulants and novices not only how to bind books, but also the virtues of patience and compassion. Now she helps keep the Marketing Department up to date with her attention to detail. Sr. Caroline's favorite prayer intention is for the gift of perseverance of the sisters in their vocational response to God.

I was a member of your congregation from 1965-1968. God had other plans for me -- and He was, of course, correct in my need to serve Him via another vocation.

Just wanted to share my memories of Sr. Mary Caroline. She was very kind to me as I stuggled to learn all the intricate workings of the bindery. Her smile, occasional encouraging winks, and obvious pleasure in prayer (which was a frequent occurance while we worked) helped all the Postulants relax and develope much needed self-confidence.

In turn, I was able to carry these well-learned principals into my nursing profession.

So, thank you for that, Sr. Mary Caroline. And, God Bless!

I remember Sr. Caroline when visiting in 1985 for a few days. We were having lots of problems with the collator!
    God bless you, Sister!

    Sr. Mary Caroline:

I remember the days in the bindary with you (88-92) and just wanted to send a thought and a prayer over the Internet. You introduced me to my guardian angel - "Christopher" - who helps me constantly.

    Stay well!

It's good to see Sr. Mary Caroline again. I remember her well, being taught by her in the bindery as a teenager, many, many years ago. I was in the community from 1961-1970. She was a wonderful inspiration and great mentor.

Please keep us former DSP's in your prayers, Sr. Mary Caroline.

Dear Sr. Mary Caroline...I was part of the DSP's from 1979-1982 as a young teenager. It is so good to see you looking well. You were and are one of the gentlest souls I have ever met. God bless you...and I agree with the previous comments..please keep former DPS's in your prayers too!
