On the Feast of the Epiphany when the nations came to adore Jesus, we celebrated the internationality of our community. We had foods and artifacts from Croatia, Native American tribes, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cameroon, Vietnam, Romania, Mexico, and Norway--I hope I got them all. This is a blanket from Sr. Marie James, representing Native American culture. After supper we enjoyed native dances and customs.

What a beautiful way to honor the feast of the Epiphany! I hadn't thought of it previously, but it would be a great idea for parishes as well, to have an international dinner. Ours is later this month to celebrate our new Faith Development Center.
Thanks as always for sharing, Sister Ann.
